The Red Door Thrift Shop Update
Dawn Jex
Dawn Jex, Red Door Manager
Hello Everyone,
We are halfway through the month of June already! I can hardly believe it!
We are currently displaying items for Fathers Day and also the Fourth of July. We had a banner month in May with our most profitable month yet! Thanks to all of you for making everything run so smoothly around here!
Sales this week will be: white tag clothing $1, Kitchen supplies half price, tablecloths and curtains half price.
The calendars for July are up on the bulletin board for you to peruse. I do know that we need coverage for our Tuesday morning cashier for the whole month. If that's something you'd like to do, just let me know which days and I will put your name down. I have attached PDF's at the bottom of this email as well.
The Red Door is planning to participate in Whale of a Sale this year. It will be on Saturday June 27th and we will be open from 10-3. Debbie will be here running the show and I have: Wendy K and Joanne L as morning volunteers and Paula as an afternoon volunteer. I also heard Eric T is a possible person for this day. I would love to have one more afternoon volunteer if anyone is available, please and thank you.
I also want to say a special thank you to everyone who helped out last week while I was on jury duty. Everything went soooo smoothly and you are capable and kind to each other, and willing to take on more than you are asked. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you. BIG HUGS.
See you all soon!
